Feel like I’m close… have what seem like obvious steps 1 & 2 to me, but can’t figure out what to do next. I’ve tried a half dozen different things and none of them form words. One was soooooo close- my first attempt, actually- but I can’t make it work. I’ve triple checked that work to make sure I’m not screwing something dumb up- nope. Grrr. Haven’t done enough metas yet- I don’t have a big enough library of mechanisms in my head to work through. Maybe it’ll come to me overnight.

It will, often. 🤔

I was feeling so bad
I asked my family doctor just what I had
I said, "Doctor (doctor)
@mrmd (doctor)
Now can you tell me, tell me, tell me
What's ailing me?" (doctor)

He said, "Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
(Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
Indeed, all you really need is
Good rosé

Actually, in real life, Kate says I just tell people to shut up and take two paracetamol, which was pretty much my approach during clinical practice also….!

But that's the one she doesn't like? That is all I found, too. In fact, I was not aware of a PDF of the entire paper.
If this doesn't meet the need, I apologize. Trying to help. 🙂

This does download the entire issue as a PDF.

BarbaraK wrote: Sat Jul 23, 2022 9:46 pm Question for the WSJ subscribers:

I get a daily email, “Today's Wall Street Journal Print Edition” that has a link to a single PDF of the entire paper. I didn’t get it this morning, and this is one I’d like to have. And I’ve had absolutely no luck finding it on the wsj site. (They have a section by section by section file that you have to read on their site, but that’s not the one I like.) So does anyone get that mail, and if so could you PM me the link?
Barbara - is this the link you want?

I hope that's not something goofy that's personalized to my computer (can you tell how totally tech savvy I am? ;) ). I can also forward the email to you if you PM me your email address. Then you can tell me if it has the link you are missing. I seldom look at the online version as I much prefer the WSJ :sauropod: :newspaper:

I believe that’s what the rest of the world calls Tylenol/acetaminophen.
If you want help with a meta, feel free to PM me. The more specific you are about what you have and what you want, the more likely I can help without spoiling.

(And if I help you win a mug, I’ll be especially delighted.)

That does help! Oddly enough, that button is not there when I look at it on my phone, but when I tried it on an iPad, I was able to download a full pdf that I can read offline.

Many thanks to you and all who worked on this for me!

Thanks… no need… sleeping on it did the trick! I have no idea how I missed THIS path in my many attempts yesterday… actually, looking back at my notes, I now realize I *did* find this path… but I overlooked something in a very dumb way. Argh.

Happily ashore now, though! Strong black coffee for me here. Gave up the fun stuff on a whim ~5 years ago and realized that I generally prefer my life without it.

Ashore after a little collaboration with my wife.

Always happy to see a Nittany Lion reference in a puzzle created by a fellow alum! Thanks, Mike.
