Harper's, August 2022: "Mixed Bag"
The new issue hit my inbox this morning, with yet another fun puzzle from the peerless Master Maltby. I have one minor quibble that can be discussed much later, but it doesn't detract from my characteristic enjoyment of these clever Harper's cryptics.

Wow, I solved this one within two hours after it hit my mailbox. That's a first. I don't think it was much easier than usual (maybe a tad less complicated) so my biorhythms must be running high today.
