I was too busy trying to concoct sentences using the full pairs of words in the various theme answers, rather than just one word from each.

Brilliant puzzle by the always devious Mr. Gaffney.

So, I formed two lines from Longfellow. But then got hung up on the Ella Fitzgerald song having the same line as the poem, and both Poe and ELO having works titled Eldorado. The rabbit hole was too deep to climb out of.
