This week’s contest answer is a familiar 5-letter proper noun.

Huh. I got somewhere but not the end, yet. Much further than I've ever gotten on a week 4, at least. :)

Update: gah, made a dumb but probably common error. Submitted, waiting for confirmation.

Update 2: Confirmed!

Solved in full.

Not sure I solved it "right" but I am on the board.

The first week 4 I solved in a long time without a nudge (assuming I solved it...waiting for confirmation). One dead end but quickly got back on the right path.

Not solved in full, only in part. I think I know what the answer is, but there's one small incosistency, maybe two, in how I've gotten there.

Update: I went down a path that was much twistier than the correct one. I kinda like the mechanism I used, and I certainly liked the answer I got much more than the one Matt wants.

Pretty sure I made the same dumb error you did. Figured it out. Submitted.
Happy to give nudges. If you notice I've solved, please tell me about avenues you've explored so I can nudge you in the right direction and not off a cliff.

submitted, pending confirmation.

if right, this is more of a week 2 than a week 4. Perhaps he's felt pity on us?

Looks like 47 of 48 submissions have been correct thus far?? If I'm doing the correct math.

EDIT: confirmed, on the board at #55.

Submitted and pretty sure I'll be able to beam up. I had at least two errors, which made it exponentially more difficult, but I finally got to something that seems right!

Edit: On (the) board!
