Hey, I'm in the top ten for the first time that I can remember. In a sense I was lucky, as I guessed at part of the answer before I saw the full mechanism, but luckily my guess was right.

Glad I took another quick look before I went on about the rest of my day. Quick solve and waiting to be beamed aboard!
Happy to give nudges. If you notice I've solved, please tell me about avenues you've explored so I can nudge you in the right direction and not off a cliff.

Congrats, Adam, for being beamed up first!! Celebrate by going out and buying tons of school supplies.

Favorite clue of the day: "Froot ___ (excellent breakfast cereal)"

I love Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Yes, I'm a (functioning) adult.

Happy solving, and good luck to everyone!!

Beamed up. Maybe it's just me, but I very much prefer the more technically assembled 100%'ers in weeks 2-4. Even when I'm 99.99999% sure of the implied answers in Week 1, I have to grit my teeth when I submit.
