Then Shabbos started, which for me means no screens or any writing implements. Just staring at the grid, watching the letters swim before my eyes like visions of Dead shows in the 80’s. And then… Once in a while you get shown the light, in the strangest of places if you look at it right!
Dead shows in the 80's?

I thought you looked familiar!
If you can remember the Dead shows you went to, you didn't do it right.

Speaking of Scarlet Begonias, mine nearly succumbed to a white, powdery fungus, but months of care with a fungicide oil brought them back from their near death experience!
It's not Scarlet Begonias or even a Sugar Magnolia, but the pear tree in our front yard is showing off.

I think Mike really had a chance to add a 3rd layer to the the puzzle - with actual position names - but that would have also required specific knowledge on the subject. Need the mug to add to the week-end after nailing Medina Spirit as well. Kudos to Bob Baffert, the best trainer ever.

I got Medina Spirit as well, but my long shot didn't make it into the top 4 (and Mandaloun was not on my radar!), so had to be satisfied with win/place winnings. Baffert is an incredible trainer!

Well, here the women glow and the men plunder occasionally, so a fair observation. I am avoiding “a head full of zombie” reference, USPS monitoring of social media and all...

Busy all weekend. Luckily, and unusually for me, a quick solve. Ashore.

Throwing in the towel after days of frustration. I’ll take a nudge. Ha ha.

Finally got it with a nudge!

Are there any other tax accountants in here? Just wondering. I love a good professional commiseration. With other CPA’s who puzzle. It’s a great taxcrastination method. Among other hobbies. Procrastibaking, procrasticrochet, procrasticocktails, etc.

And here’s a “YOU CAN DO IT!” to any who can’t pull themselves away from Isaac.

One of my favorite Friday night, post martini playlist songs. Sad story is they ended up being sued for the flute solo.

Colin Hay still tours with Ringo's all-stars, which I've yet to see, but it's on the list.

Ashore! Put it down multiple times, but I have a submission that works. Again, learned something new from the puzzle.
