"Swap Meet" - April 16, 2021

Post by Bob cruise director »

This week's contest is titled "Swap Meet" by Patrick Berry.

The answer to this week's contest crossword is something you might say at a swap meet.

Good luck with the grid and the meta

Just finished the grid and beginning to ponder the meta.
But two comments:
39A: That line was said years before the person given credit for it in this grid.
64A: I love it when a grid teaches me a new word that I'm able to solve correctly despite my ignorance.

Excellent construction! Really impressive. I am on the shore and the cabana boy is wondering who’s gonna be the next (non-guest) host of Jeopardy!

On shore. Fun one! Numbers in parentheses are sometimes a bad omen, but with a bit of finagling, this one fell pretty quickly.

Haven't started it yet, but pretty sure the answer is not "Howzit, Bruddah!"
