Yeah I've always heard 39A attributed to Dizzy Dean.

Ashore! Yes, there's a shore. Way over yonder, far from the boat on which I sit.
For nudges, feel free to PM me. I won't have a clue how to help you, but you might shove me ashore.

LAS. Many rabbits already chased. Hm, I just realized this must be the first cruise ship with both a bar and a rabbit patch.

Update: Post enlightenment. Ashore.

Grr...I feel so dumb. I've figured out everything except what to do with the numbers. Those dang parentheses get me every time!

:desert_island: Onshore. Whew! - the numbers scared me, but Patrick Berry did not disappoint. Nice one.

On shore. While this one has the dreaded numbers in parentheses, it's not so bad. I like how this crossword was done.

I only recently started watching Game of Thrones, which is is mentioned in 43A. Glancing at 15A & 18A you come close to the name of another house.

Oh, very nice! Doing Patrick Berry's COVID suite helped immensely, as did making two big errors when doing the grid.
