Post by Bob cruise director »

This week's contest is titled "The Play's The Thing by Matt Gaffney

The answer to this week's contest crossword is a word from Hamlet's "To be, or not to be" soliloquy

And is dedicated to our own Toby

Good luck with the grid and the meta

(With apologies to Limerick Savant)

I’m sitting with toes in the sand,
A frothy-topped Guinness in hand.
With practice I find
That my meta skills shine,
But my limericks aren’t very good.

Ashore. Happy to join the party earlier than usual. Perhaps an hors d'oeuvre before the libations begin.

I've missed the theatre. Glad to see a puzzle like this. Happily on shore and ready for a nice Martini!

On the shore!

EDIT: And here's my 2D for missing most of the Muggle Zoom call on April 6 ... Was it worth it?

Good luck, fellow Muggles! I'm happy to give nudges, but only if you're still stuck on Sunday. Just send me a PM and tell me what you've tried so far.

On shore! Am I on page 1?
Yes!! The cabana boy is busy trying on costumes. I'm having yet another margarita. It’s so warm here on the beach.

Ashore after a little consultation with Dr. Google. Not the easiest swim for me ... 😜.

On shore! Spent the day scrubbing the deck, so I could go for a cold frosty brew.
