I am right there with you - this one is simply beyond me. This isn’t one I’m going to pick back up tomorrow and suddenly see the light.

It’s been a good run - 18 weeks (granted I did guess the Marie Curie one rather than solve it) which is 13 weeks longer than my previous streak. Somehow I always knew it would be Matt who ended my streak.

Ashore. Amazing construction, particularly in one of the corners!

I am still at sea.
Proud of those who are ashore.
Maybe tomorrow.

I got to this late due to Zoom meetings, but even so it took me some time to catch on to what was going on. Now that I see it I am astonished at what Matt is able to construct.

I am ready to go ASHORE if Joe would come back with the tender instead of tooling around the harbor.

Hmmmm... I'm a large way there, but going to have to spend a night thinking about this one... Still paddling.

On shore with possibly my fastest swim ever. The grid took me a while, but I was pretty sure I knew the answer early on. Cracking open an extra special beer for this one, a Boulevard double bourbon barrel aged imperial stout with chocolate, vanilla, and coffee. Cheers!

I assume I have the correct answer. is there a mechanism to confirm the third word of the three that I missed?

Not seeing it at all. Poked my head down several rabbit holes but have come up with a big fat zero so far.

I think that the clue for 24A is totally wrong. A better clue would have been "the Cruise Director's Initials"

On shore. Pretty impressive construct. This was a team tag. Wife was driving and she pulled me back from the brink of a serious rabbit hole on the way home from volleyball practice. I would have followed it to the ends of the earth and back. Really nice Matt.

I thought that the answer for 53D had a "T" in front of it. At least that is what I hear before NFL games.

Moving through the waters pretty well, until this happened.
Maybe tomorrow, Cap'n.

Ashore after finding the confirmation I was looking for. Not sure if I've seen this mechanism before.

First time I'm on page three. Perhaps I'll have some room to stretch out on the beach for at least a couple of days before the weekend tourists arrive?

Still stumped on the meta, but no reason not to post a pic from the wilds of Chicago. That might be a slight exaggeration...

Finished the grid, but thinking the "blanton's fog" might make me look at the meta tomorrow.
