This week's contest is titled "We'll Have Waters All Around" by Matt Gaffney

The answer to this week's contest is a three-word phrase that's something you might ask for in a restaurant

I know the answer and will have the grid finished & the meta 100% verified by the time we reach the beach.

4:32 EDIT: 100% verified! Feet are sandy & taking me to find a Guinness, or some.

On shore.

How does Matt keep doing this week after week? More than once a week in this case. His imagination and skill are amazing.

Happy to give nudges. If you notice I've solved, please tell me about avenues you've explored so I can nudge you in the right direction and not off a cliff.

Ashore. Loved the theme and a lot of clues in one of the few categories whose random information seems to stay with me.

Saw a huge Roughtail Stingray on yesterday's dive. It was swimming/flying a foot off the bottom in 45-feet of water. It was 5-1/2 feet wide. I know this because it let me swim right above it long enough to see that its wing tips were as far apart as the wrists on my extended arms. A half dozen remoras were swirling about its tail, which was seven feet long. Magnificent creature!

It turns out there is a drink named a stingray: spiced rum, Midori, pineapple juice, and cranberry juice. I think I'll order a couple.

N.B. Per last week's discussion on the propriety of using Google: I did not use Google for the puzzle, but I did use it to find the drink.

Got the first part easy enough - no clue what to do next. Maybe it will come to me on my jog.

On the beach! 🏖 🍷

Enjoyed it very much!

It’s probably ok to have a glass or two of merlot the day before my first vaccine shot, right? Don’t answer that!

Ashore. After a fine tour of the lagoon we finally drifted ashore. Thank you Matt.

Too late to be a Page Oner, so I'm going outside to take in this 75 degree day with my Guinness... that I had to serve myself.
