On shore as of about 7:30 last night, rewarded with a TreeHouse Doubleganger.

Thanks to Brian and Bob for resurrecting the website!
PS. Just got to Brian's post. Thanks to Yuriy as well.

I'll also ask for a PM from someone for an explanation unrelated to the meta; I'm still scratching my head over 42A.

On shore, I understood the mechanism quickly, but initially had a couple of letters off. Love that click when it becomes obvious

I missed you! I am on shore. I got to the puzzle right away yesterday and may have even made page one but we will never know! 😊 Thanks to all working on this site.

Ashore yesterday evening (fastest ever for me), but unable to get to the computer to send it off. Now to enjoy the view from the beach. Will post another comment after the solution...

On shore quickly following a sticky grid, but did learn a few things. Enjoyed a cool and windy Spring Break on the Texas coast with neighborhood kids and dog yesterday so didn't get to post til late, then was shut out. Catfish, hush puppies and Shiner while daughter practices volleyball tonite, and visit with baby granddaughter tomorrow. Life is good.

Just returned from the ER after getting treatment for "MF" withdrawal (Muggles Forum) - - was shaking quite a bit but much better now. Quick swim to shore. Will get the Fresh Squeezed IPA chillin.

PPS, thanks for the PMs on 42A. Had a brain freeze on the (now obvious) connection.

On a normal day I'd have powered through the grid, but this was a contest puzzle and I needed to swim to shore as quickly as possible! So google became my lifeboat.

Done and done, safely ashore. The grid was slightly more difficult than usual but the meta was easy peasy. Good luck Muggles!

On shore.
Sorry for your pain, Brian.
Your post regarding fear of loss made it real at a truly visceral level.
Thanks to Yuriy and you for upgrading and restoring us all back to a wonderful sense of community.

Ashore. For me, grid was much tougher than the Meta!

Ashore. Challenging grid. Meta -- not so much. Sad to say, I had never heard of a number of the longer entries. On the plus side, got my first jab on Wednesday. No side effects and the soreness is mostly gone. Normalcy approaches!

Ashore, and a huge thank you to Brian and all the other folks who I'm sure have been working way too much to restore the forums back to their glory. Welcome back!

Ashore!

I'll have an Irish Coffee (Bushmill's, thank you). Add a touch of Cointreau if you've got it.

Sláinte!
