Ashore. Yesterday. Just read Brian's post. Had no idea, Brian, that you were behind the curtain. Thanks for all you do.

Ashore! And thank you, Brian and Yuriy!

As others were, I was ready to post at 4:30 Thursday, when I would have written:

Great Blazing Baedekers, Batman! What a grid! I freely admit to freely using Google to fill every space.

But when I was done, I realized I had personal acquaintance with two of the theme answers, and came close to a third, and the trip to shore was like wading across the kiddie pool.

Maybe I'll just have a Coke. . . . No, make that rum and Coke.

On the beach! I would be happy to contribute to the cause. Even a subscription. This is too much fun to go without.

I was thinking last night that I wished that there was a way to provide support.

On the beach! Tougher grid that had to be put aside last night, then pulled through to completion this morning during the Champions League Draw. A fun and smooth ride to the meta from there. Cool puzzle construction.

Great job getting everything back up! Happy to be able to say I'm on shore....not my favorite by a long shot; very rough gridding that I didn't bother finishing once I saw my mechanism idea was solid and did what I needed to do to get the answer...

Thanks Brian for your hard work! I think your plan makes a lot of sense. As a new muggle I wondered about how things worked. Now I have a sense of the inner workings! I would be happy to contribute.

And we are ashore!

I’m onshore. That may be redundant as I posted to the WSJ forum yesterday evening.
But I wanted an opportunity to thank Brian for all the work he’s done. We all are with you.

Solved.
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!
He chortled in his joy
So happy to be among Muggle friends again!
Oh, BrianMac, I hope you felt the beams of love we were sending you when we realized what you must be going through. Get ready for a tidal wave of donations.
( give the extra to Isaac’s tip jar)
And let’s see if we can get Yuriy onto the ship!

Hello, all. Been away for several weeks. Nice to come back to an easy one.

On shore as of about 7:30 last night, rewarded with a TreeHouse Doubleganger.

Thanks to Brian and Bob for resurrecting the website!
