Did not let technical difficulties delay my order from the cabana bar. Visiting grandkids and new grand dog in Texas. Mexican food and margaritas.

Well, ashore... and we were thinking perhaps in record time (for us), only to see that the system was down for several hours -- so a page 1 posting doesn't really count

Thank you Brian! I was bereft! On shore in record time! I am amazed at how I was feeling so lonely and unconnected. We may need an alternate social media source. (Thank you Peter Abide for putting up with me. )

I had some problems with the grid, but none with the meta.

I did suspect the puzzle was going in a different direction while filling it out.

Nice to have the site back up.

Solved. The meta mechanism was the first thing I tried; I was able to suss out the answer with educated guessing but did a small amount of web research to confirm before submitting.

LOL, on shore for the second time today. At least I got a Guinness each time.
