On shore
Nice to see a new constructor.
I would say only a little more difficult that the February metas.

Quick swim to shore. Nice feminine angled clues. Can anyone recommend a feminine cocktail for the beach?

Ashore, and looking forward to a WSJ article that explains to my family--better than I have been able to do to date--meta puzzles and their attraction.

Nice to see another meta from Joanne! Can't believe it's been a year since her last one.
I had the meta before finishing the grid, but that's due as much to the fun tricky clues in the grid as the ease of the meta.
Hope we don't have to wait another year for Joanne's next one.

Onshore! Already enjoying a scotch. Definitely crowded beach albeit for those who only use Mr. G for the meta portion of puzzle, I would say a fun and challenging grid. I think it's great to get new constructors. They all think so differently.

On shore!
For a few moments, I was staring BLAnkly at the puzzle. Was my solving streak about to be wreCKed? Had I gotten too SMug after a month of easier puzzles? No—I have the wherewITHal to solve this! So I PLOpped myself back into my chair and looked everything oVER again. And there was the answer. I liked this one. I’ll have a gin and tonic, please.

Done and done. That's six in a row, which is kind of frightening. I don't think I'm getting any smarter--at least my wife says I'm not.
Unrelated note--opossum sighting in Chicago near the lake from our younger daughter.

Onshore after chasing a few fun ideas. I am getting nervous about the difficult ones coming up.
