That's what happened to me!

A nice clean mechanism is always confirmation that you're on the beach with toes in the sand.

(and this mechanism is nicely designed and straightforward) ((I hope not a spoiler))

Ashore and sipping the tiki bar's well bourbon (cabana boy was pretty cranky, so I didn't specify a label). Took me a while to see the whole mechanism. Based on the preceding comments, I assume I am the last one to solve...

Got to a table on shore without having to look up the periodic table! I'll have some Eth-OH, please, over some frozen H2O.

Got a late start as I’m visiting two of my kids in Chicago.
Had to solve without paper version of puzzle 😠. Missed second part of mechanism at first but now I’m on shore!

Would you believe.... when looking for mine, I would have used that. But... (wait for it)

Missed it by THAT much!
There are 500,000 computers ready to solve this meta...would you believe one librarian with a broken pencil?

Agreed that the grid was tougher than the meta. Had a look at it this a.m. and power-stroked to shore. May have to wander down the beach a bit to a more secluded spot.

Ashore.

I can appreciate not dropping a bomb on the newbies with a mega-hard meta, but it's time to turn up the difficulty level a notch or two.

One of my favorite kinds of meta--one I solve!! Grid was tougher but holes easily plugged when I worked out the solution. Happily on shore. Have a good weekend, Muggles.

How 'bout a monkey and a ouija board?

No spoilers. This calls for the Cone of Silence.

Good morning muggles. Our Saturday report is a bit early for two reasons. The main one is to reduce stress on our MGWCC participants. Normally the MGWCC comes out on Friday but this week it is coming out today at noon (anyone who has ever had children will understand conflicts of appointments). And we don't want stress.

The second reason is that we are at exactly 200 muggles on the shore. This marks the fifth straight week we have breached the 200 mark.

But first we welcome all of our new muggles - BigRedBob, 78mg (hopefully that is a car he is driving), Glenn C, Daytonh, crswenson, Pembroke, and BrennerTJ,

We have opened multiple tiki bars for safety and convenience. And Isaac says Hello from South Georgia where he currently is on his Antarctic trip

Claiming my spot on the beach 🏖 now. Limerick to come later. Guessed the meta before starting. Confirmed my guess almost immediately. Used the presumptive meta to help solve the grid.
