There's a nice hidden shout-out to this board in the paired entries at 19D and 27D. And after looking more carefully at the puzzle, I believe that there's also at least one easter egg relating to the meta.

Ashore on page 4. 33A could also fit into the theme answers, for you lit nerds out there.

Not to be pedantic, but in that case you'd use "estoy" :)

Late to the party, but onshore. I had the answer before I made all of the right connections.

I think I made that WAYYYY harder than it should have been. I am on a shore - maybe not the shore but I have an answer.

Now back to Crime and Punishment - which is definitely not a Rom Com.

I've never seen the movie
But I'm pretty sure.

I imagine that there is further confirmation within the grid than what I recognized.
There is indeed confirmation within the grid. Keep looking!

On shore. Cute one. I'm sure all the Guinness is gone by now.

Solved. And pretty easy. 47D brought back many nice memories. And answer to meta is a really good movie in my opinion.

On Shore. Even when he gives us an easy one, Matt always injects his spark of fun into the meta. Good for newbies to see why we love these metas.

Solved it without finishing the puzzle. I still think it’s very clever!

Thanks. I will do that. I sent you a PM with a question. I don't think that it would be a spoiler, but I didn't want to post that question here, just in case.
