Quick trip off this boat. Feel better, spaced 6' apart on the beach.

Ashore! Easy enough to spot ones own occupation.

I'll have a whiskey on the rocks please!

Onshore! Very cute meta. I hope I'm not jinxing myself here, but this ties my longest streak at 16, and keeps me at 100% for the year.

Muggles, what does everyone think of the idea of sending a Letter to the Editor to the WSJ thanking them for continuing to provide the puzzle during the pandemic? It has been such a help for so many reasons! I will volunteer to write it and will post it for suggestions. If it's a dumb idea, don't hesitate to tell me so.
Good luck, fellow Muggles!

This puzzle and my Friday night online poker game are now the highlights of my week! My work has gotten worse since I'm now having calls forwarded from our offices, which are mostly closed except for emergencies. I just hope a letter wouldn't prompt them to change anything.

Ashore after a brief detour. Liked the meta this week as well as the grid, particularly 8d and 45d. Nice work Mike.

Ashore. Good one (and I’m glad it was easy, because I need the weekend for other things 😜).

It’s a great idea! Just don’t mention that it’s free. No need to get them thinking about that. I am VERY thankful for all the puzzles and all the muggles.

On shore!

Clever, elegant, and fun. Thanks, Mike!

Now back to Brian Mac’s third opus ...

On shore. Took me a while to see the light, all while watching a replay of the Sparks 2016 game one victory over the Lynx in the WNBA finals. I think Mike did a great job on this one.

I think I am onshore and not even done with the grid. That would definitely be a first!

Yep - Got it and LOVE IT!

Also, as a bonus I was stuck a couple places in the grid and the meta actually helped me finish the grid! If I wasn't taking this month off from drinking I would definitely sip on a Grey Goose Martini.
