This week's contest is titled "Then and Now" by Matt Gaffney. The answer to this week's contest crossword is a cartoon duo.

In my musings, this week, I was wondering if between the holidays the title of the puzzle might be "Pageant Reprise"

Still only 1 page of posts after a couple of hours. Is that a KAS5 I see on the horizon? Grid done fairly quickly. Been staring at the results ever since. Isaac: Two fingers of Jim Beam on the rocks, stat!

I've got the mechanism but can't yet get a cartoon duo from it. I guess I'll have a drink with Isaac while I think on this one some more

Someone mentioned being left handed early this week. I am, too and am always interested how many others are as well. I asked that for other left handed Muggles to make themselves known. I imagine that most of you had already stopped looking at the contest comments by that time, So I ask again. I'm curious to know how many of us there are.
