On shore! Monkey 47 with Fever Tree and a swath of orange rind please .... ahhhhhhhh. Seeing all the posts, we may have to find a bigger beach. Cheers to all.

And in keeping with the additional game this week --

The answer rolled in
Not on little cat's feet but
Like fog -- silently.

A slightly delayed Saturday status as we had a birthday brunch for the lady of the house. Great when your kids are grown up so they can host things.

I though of doing the list as a long set of haikus but then thought better as we have 112 muggles on the shore with Deb keeping Isaac company

And I love the haikus of which there are a lot

No Domenic?

Not yet! He is on a camping trip and is trusting my judgment that this will be an easy one. I expect he will pick it up tomorrow night and solve it pretty quickly.

I figured so, but how could I resist a Haiku with a pun on Haiku, it just seemed right....

Cindy wrote: Sat Nov 16, 2019 2:21 am I’ve been doing these for around three years. At some point, the quest for the mug became completely unimportant to me. I just want to solve the puzzle every single time.
I don't even bother to check my email Monday morning anymore, and only check if no winner announced by late afternoon.

my "rabbit hole" this week ... early in the solving, I became convinced (for ... reasons I can't explain) that the answer was going to be "eye of the storm", and I fought and fought and fought to find something in the grid that would support that.

Failing that, I then paid attention to the puzzle and solved it.

Amazing how our brains try to fool us.

Finally took a close look today and I'm on shore. Wish the snack bar was still open. Craving a lobster roll or fried clams.

Tried earlier to post, but it didn't work.
Haiku is it now?
Here are a couple that my cat wrote.

The food in my bowl is old
And more to the point
Contains no tuna.

Tiny can, dumped in
Plastic bowl. Presentation,
One star; service: none.
