I have an answer, but like some others here I'm wondering if there could be a further step. In any event, my admiration for Patrick Berry never ceases.

This meta had made me a wreck
While sitting with Isaac on deck.
Then the daughter came by
With a much keener eye:
Solved by the girl from Quebec.

Team effort, but @puzzled saw the key step. High fives to her.

So, Equipe Canuck are ashore. And we really are. We're down at the tiki bar at a beach on Hilton Head. We'll have rum and enough fruit to keep off the scurvy.
For nudges, feel free to PM me. I won't have a clue how to help you, but you might shove me ashore.

Count me on the shore.
Even rabbit holes were fun.

Ashore, if unsettled. Clever, but ... Is there more to it? Guess I will have to settle. Natasha says we're done.

Still exploring rabbit holes with Isaac. No sign of land, but I'm OK with a tall drink. Loads of ideas on this one. Happy weekend to everyone.

Apparently I do not speak Berry. I mean he has told me what to do, if only I could translate it to a language I could understand. I mean I've done waht I thought I should but - NOPE.

Ah well Isaac, Old Fashioned please oh, and a crying towel.....

Yeah, not seeing it this week. I’ll keep staring at my filled out grid to see if something pops, but I can’t even say I’ve gone down many rabbit holes. I don’t seem to be able to find the fields where the rabbits live.

It just came to me in an "aha" moment. Onshore still carrying the drink Isaac made for me. I actually even enjoyed the rabbit holes. There's only one thing that still bothers me, but my answer feels completely right.

Some extra Berries in honor of this week's constructor?

On the ship! It is really frustrating not being able to solve these "easy" ones.

I had an inspiration while oasis mowing my lawn (cutting only the green spots that have survived the summer drought) but it proved to be fruitless.

The light just went on! I’ve swum to shore, swallowing about a gallon of seawater on the way.

This is not easy. It's Patrick Berry, so it's clean, clever, & inventive, but not easy.
