Count me ashore, Bob
Definitely more difficult than we've had for a while for wsj. Great puzzle!

Ashore! Margarita, please!

Sitting in a Rocky Mountaineer train headed to Vancouver. Grid done on my phone. I think I have step one, but not enough bourbon has been consumed to thoroughly understand where to go from here.

Plenty of time to solve.

Fun one. Took a while after I found the path, which I always like.

Ashore. An early AHA, but then foraged the swamp of despair, plowing the path of an old Pilgrim until progress... At last! (Blessed be Google!) ;)

We did that train ride several years ago. Enjoy!

I’m on the beach with 3 margaritas lined up. The cabana boy is working on the new tapas menu.

My usual mental block kept me staring at the grid for too long, but I'm now on shore. But here in the East, the rain here is much too heavy for this tiny umbrella someone put in my drink.

I wonder how many solvers didn't need Google.

I probably didn’t need it, but used it to confirm.

Solved the meta, but I think I pulled a brain muscle in doing so. Fantastic.

Another "Gaffney Gulp" when I started.... But now confidently on the beach. Outstanding puzzle and construction. On to a Laver Cup weekend and celebrating in Boston with a Lone Pine Brightside IPA now in hand. Hats off to Mr. Gaffney for this one.

On the beach with a severe comment about the grid on this one.

I did the same, used six for the missing two.

On shore (and off the train). Solved just as we pulled into the train station. Flying home tomorrow. Will look at MGWCC on Saturday.
