Dude, where's my meta? That was over too fast.

I think Captain Stubing just ran the whole ocean liner aground on the beach.

No correlation between the week and the level of difficulty with the WSJ

Well, I think I’m ashore … but it seems a little too easy. What’s the equivalent of a mirage out here on the waves? More later … 😜.

So … two hours from the deadline, I finally sent in the obvious answer, still more or less certain that we were all being pageanted … but … no. Luckily, I hadn’t spent a whole lot more time on the puzzle, so … AWTEW … 😜.

On shore. The first express launches were all full when I got to the side of the ship (after dutifully filling out the grid). I was not about to swim and so had a beer while I waited for an open seat.

Okay.... I submitted but.... It *CAN'T* be that easy, can it?

But.... I can absolutely argue my case that my answer fits the puzzle unambiguously and succinctly and *must* be acceptable....

But it *can't* be that easy.....

...... Okay, submitted but I'd be interested in comparing answers.
Funny story. I was all set to enter Par for the course for the CrossHare midi contest for April but I mistakenly thought midi meant 7x 7 and not 11 x 11. Oops. Well.... Here's a complex but **small** meta on the subject of golf.

Is three pages within half an hour a record?
