Down to the short strokes...and...yes...we have rowed ashore!
DRY martinis would be a fine idea tonight, no?

Ashore. Couldn't see anything, until I suddenly did. A true "aha" moment. Incredibly clever construction. I'll take a Jameson's on the rocks, with a splash of water, please, Mr. Cabana Boy.

Onshore ready for the weekend. And I'm working my way up. Still single digits--Page 4. Yay me. If I'd remember to get the puzzle at 4:00, it might help...or not! Rarely get this close to the first page so it's a win.

Enjoy your holiday weekend, Muggles.

Onshore! Fun one! As others have said, you don’t see it until you do.

Nice to have a good puzzle mechanism like this again.

Ashore.
Funny story. I was all set to enter Par for the course for the CrossHare midi contest for April but I mistakenly thought midi meant 7x 7 and not 11 x 11. Oops. Well.... Here's a complex but **small** meta on the subject of golf.

After solving the grid, it took a minute. The "Aha Moment" was delightful. On shore.

Had to take a dinner break between the grid and meta, but I'm ashore! Have a great long weekend y'all!

Oh yeah. Mojo back. Toes deeply embedded in sand which is very wet given recent deluges.

Stay well (and dry)
