I'm not seeing this one. Perhaps tomorrow.

I did find this grid enjoyable!

With Isaac after finishing the grid this morning and now staring at the grid. Some interesting things, but not anything that's clicking.

Grid is finished and I am cross-eyed from trying to find a clue. Think I will rest a spell and enjoy the beautiful northern MN lake and landscape...

24 hours in... and I got nuttin'. Grid fell with only token resistance, but I'm finding only the shallowest of rabbit holes to explore. One seems more promising than others, but I can't find a "there" there.

Hunkered down with Isaac and Curly for the foreseeable future.

Yep, this one got me, some ideas and leads but just not tying together.

That was a really hard one for me - I went down way too many bunny holes, but am now safely ashore.

Well I am baffled. At least I can say I am in fairly good company. I'd HATE it if there were countless "Oh way too easy" comments. At least when I am dense it is nice to know that there are others in/on the same boat. I don't even have an inkling of where to go, but then that is not that unusual.

Perhaps, like this song, I am reading it all wrong?

Like many others....sailed through the grid, but 0.0% progress on the meta!

On (a) shore! I'm sure that I got at least part of the method, but the result didn't 100% click for me, so I may have missed something. But it was a 5-letter word, so I submitted it! This is the toughest WSJCC (for me) that I can remember in a long time.

I’m on the beach.

I don’t see any alternative answers, so I am going with what I have. One small nit though.

Definitely on the ship--perhaps for longer than a 3-hour cruise. Isaac and I and a bunch of the other muggles are WHOOPing it up at the bar--a few more drinks and the meta won't mattER. The grid went SWiftly, but the search for an ANswer is a whole nother matter.

Ugh. I’m in a slump. For the second week in a row, I am hanging at the bar. I’ll keep at it while the hurricane hits Massachusetts.

Some see two answers and see none.

You had one job, not two or three
But according to Bob you are lost at sea 🌊
I’m not a snob, nor could ever be
the exact same thing has happened to me

You had one job, but it wasn’t to be
You started to sob, but got no pity 😢
It’s a pretty big mob, more than you and me
Hanging with Isaac on the clear blue sea

You had one job, but the time has passed
Put down your glasses at long last 👓
you’re refusing to be sassed
Metas are fun but they are not fast

You had one job, but it’s getting late
slowly reconciling to our fate
our deep hunger we yearn to sate
getting the mug sure would be great 🍺
