MEOW ?
Yes: MEOW is short for "Madhatter's Enigma on Wednesdays." It's a weekly puzzle; see "Other Meta Crossword Puzzles" on the Forum directory for more information and links.
Here is Josh's intro to this week's puzzle (the one I enjoyed so much), "Yin and Yang":
"Welcome to the thirty-first installment of the MEOW!

The answer to this meta describes the intricate balance between yin and yang.

Good luck!"

Bob, you were a fabulous host for the Zoom Q&A with Matt G. this week. Are they giving you a shot at the Jeopardy gig?
I would but Aaron Rogers seems to have an inside track on that gig.

Thanks

On the beach. A bit late, but on shore nonetheless. The cabana boy is very busy with all these people ordering drinks he's never heard of.

Ashore! Pour me a tall one!! 🥳

This reminds me of a very GOOD song by the great band Foreigner. Yes, I can say that. DM me if you know which song I mean. 😄

ps: offering very very slight nudges today since it‘s Thursday.

Ashore. The web version of the crossword had display problems, so I had to solve it the old fashioned way.

spotter wrote: Thu Jul 01, 2021 6:01 pm On shore! I was distracted by a small red herring on my way to the beach that may have been put in there intentionally. It would be a mildly interesting coincidence if not.
Matt said on Tuesday (and has said before in other venues) that he never intentionally includes red herrings, because enough of them sneak in on their own (as happened with last week's MGWCC puzzle :)).

On the beach! Fun puzzle... always intimidated by those dreaded numbers! Whiskey on the rocks please.

Got it. Not too hard this time, at least if you've been doing these for a while. "Not too hard" is just my level...

Ashore. Smelled more like a Shenk than a Gaffney, but I'll take it.

Ugh I hope not. He (Aaron Rogers, NOT Bob!) was so boring.

Thought I was losing my meta mojo, but finally quit overcomplicating and found the path to shore.

Still have three more unsolved in my queue, so not ready to declare my mojo really back. Glad tomorrow MGWCC is a week 1.
