I have no doubt. Well I recall one of my worst failures, the meta that required knowledge of U.S. Mint locations and the letters that designate them!

On shore! Wasn't able to even look at the puzzle until this morning. Somehow I have to train my family members and friends that I am unavailable (until further notice) starting at 4:00 pm on Thursday. How did you do it, Wendy?!!

Getting a late start after a delightful evening in the Finger Lakes. I wish I could be heartened that so many have glided to shore with relative ease, as that usually means I'll sink like a stone. Set the countdown clock for 11:59 p.m. Sunday. Ready? Begin!

By using the "broken record" technique: Just keep repeating "4 p.m. Thursday is Puzzle Time." They'll catch on eventually. The only exception I make is when my dear 90-year-old neighbor/"adopted father" wanders over for a chat.
Once, however, a seriously lovelorn friend called me exactly 5 minutes before Puzzle Time and said he really needed to talk. I sighed and resigned myself to missing page 1 that week. He thanked me and said he knew he would feel so much better if he could only vent for ... oh ... 15 minutes or so. I quickly figured out what was going on, screamed at him, hung up the phone and raced for the computer. I don't remember if I made page 1, but we laugh about it to this day!

Was it a mint meta or a Federal Reserve District meta? I think I remember a fed meta. My mom worked for the Fed. Maybe we have had both.

On the shore. Thanks to a random power outage I can’t work, so the puzzle called me down a RIDICULOUS rabbit hole, which I lounged around in for awhile and made a mess of my grid. Climbing out after I realized my silly mistake, the path was clear. Nice one!

I thought sure I had the method, guess not. Ah well such is life, still sitting with Isaac unfortunately. I often stumble, and it is often the "easier" ones. Don't now why.
