On shore! Very clever and fun meta. The grid was harder than the meta this week IMHO. I'll celebrate a little later with a frosty cold beverage!

Grr lost at sea and feeling like I’m overcomplicating matters!

Anyone available for a little nudge to (hopefully) jump over this last hurdle?? I am clearly overlooking something

Still on the boat after a full day of noodling this one. I've requested a nudge from a friendly muggle in hopes I can make it to the bar before last call!

Ashore. Finally got a chance to look at the puzzle Sunday morning. This is my kind of meta, came a lot easier than the grid. Time for a mimosa!

Brought back memories of (another) puzzle a couple of years (back) which I think was more subtle and clever than this one. I think we got spoiled over the past 4 weeks with some great puzzles; this one to me was below average. But ashore, lock and loaded.

Not too bad -- it was BEARable. A little annoyed at 22 across, but I did complete it successfully.

I thought I was going in the right direction, but a little current kind of corrected me. There were definitely lessons I need to keep in mind in the future. Nice construction by Mr. Shenk.

I am ashore.
