There are non-accidental patterns all over the place. Maybe tomorrow it will come to me. Definitely at sea for now.

Edit: there it is! On shore.

Solved, and agree with docison.

Not sure if the Easter Egg was an actual Easter Egg or a feature. I probably missed something.

Onward to week 4 tomorrow!

Made it to shore, despite a huge distraction. Our grandson came OVer for the weekend--elevEN weeks old tomorrow! I squeezed in a BIt of puzzling when he went up to bed. DiscaRDed a few errant ideas and then settled on the (hopefully) correct one.

On this Memorial Day weekend, remembering those who died in the service of our country. Including my great-uncle, who died in France in the waning days of WW1.

ASHORE !! What a job it must have been to create the grid to support the meta!!!
Edit: After reading other's comments, there were so many other folks who admired the grid construction. Impressive

Looks like a beautiful Gulf Coast beach. Wish I was there.

On shore. Nice puzzle.

I was clueless for a few minutes, then made the connection.

Ashore - as others have noted, what a clever construction! The puzzle title resonates with me, as I had just finished “Cooking (for the family) with smoke and mirrors” this evening :-)

Good health and happy solving,

It looks like the Al 'Gebra gang has been COOKING BY THE NUMBERS.

MathLab.jpg

I heard that the local law enforcement played an integral part in preventing derivatives of the drugs from hitting the streets and also found several weapons of math destruction.

I think police laid a trap-azoid for them. Plus I see graph paper. They must be plotting something.
can't argue with spell checker, so it must be right.

I don't think they're brewing with all digits intact. Something's not rational.

ASHORE! (after the last n weeks of utter turmoil...) I enjoyed the construction (as always).

Thanks to the Missus for figuring out the final element; a true team effort! (Helped by a nice Zinfandel)

Stay safe all over this long weekend.

That Al-Gebra gang can be pretty dastardly. They ruled at my high school. No one proceeded without getting past them first.

On the beach after near misses the last three weeks. Wasn't sure I would recover. The rioja always helps.

Ashore with some Founder's Solid Gold. Grateful everything fell into place quickly, it's been a frustrating couple weeks of near misses.

Ashore! Been adrift lately, so feels really good to get to the beach again.

Will enjoy several beverages this weekend as I celebrate my son’s college graduation.
