MEOW #19: She's Got Game

Post by madhatter5 »

Hi all and welcome to the nineteenth installment of the MEOW! This week's puzzle was co-constructed with Old Judge (if that is his real name). The answer to the meta is a well-known athlete.

Good luck as always!

Good luck everyone. I have a feeling that this puzzle may play a little easier, but Josh has more experience at that stuff than I do. Also, a big thank you to Whimsy for test solving and having to put up with us.

Whew1 Already I'm behind schedule!
This one is fun -- especially if you skip over the duh maneuver I made initially! :D

Much fun.

By my calculation, MamaE in Maryland was solving metas at 3:45am? Now that's dedication.

EDIT: Application accepted. Cat Free.

Thanks guys for a neat puzzle.

After I incurred a few scratches, the cat is out of the bag. Enjoyed this one enough to continue the pursuit despite some very wrong turns.

I believe kitty is roaming free. Nice puzzle, though it did not play like a puma, but then I had a stroke of luck in my goose chasing.

Whimsy, I'll be I made the same DUH maneuver which gave me fits for a while until I saw what I had done.

Nice one for the J squared team.

Yep - that’s me - consummate night owl. But that’s even late for me - chalk that solve up to insomnia....
