The cat tore a big hole in the bag, jumped out and submitted his answer. He’s slurping up a dish of canned cat food, which is what he gets after confirmation. It’s pretty stinky stuff.

Thanks to @Dplass for informing me that the clue to one of my entries is wrong. MIT evidently does not award a BS degree.

First off... the unfilled grid is adorable!

Edit: Done the grid. Cute but weird. But Not seeing the meta yet..... at all.

Edit 2 (quite a while later): Not seeing a dang thing. Time to fish for nudges I guess.....

Another Naomi mistake! Apparently she's in the old testament not the new one.

The black cat has escaped. It did not cross my path though, thank goodness.

There were a lot of little aha moments with the fill.

I liked it.

I don't know what she is complaining about, a couple of weeks ago we weren't even sure she was real.....

Well my name is I moan and I too am a ghost, but Naomi calls me backwards, that's because she is mean spirited.

The cat has escaped the bag, though they did end up stepping in some sheet.

Nice puzzle Josh I liked it, warts and all. Lots of AHA's and particularly the last AHA - deftly done as usual.

The cat is loose. This was a little more fierce than a calico, at least to me.
Very clever puzzle, with a good final AHA.

Cat's out. Thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish. .puz in across lite gave me a bit of trouble though.

Cat is out of the bag thanks to a slight nudge from a friendly muggle! He helped me see which rabbit hole to keep exploring. 🙂

Yea sorry I keep forgetting that puz files can't handle two letter entries since it just makes no sense to me.

I did the puz file in Across Lite on my iMac and didn't have a problem with one-letter or two-letter entries. YMMV
