Hi all and welcome to the forty-fifth installment of the MEOW! We have another Whimsy puzzle this week - and between you and me it's one of her best yet.

With fond memories of THOUSAND ISLAND DRESSING, the answer to this meta is something you might order in a restaurant

Neat (or should I say Neato) puzzle by Claudia. She and Josh have become a great team.

Nothing....nothing....nothing....

WAIT!

There is un minou!

Very nice. I had to Google to find that actual answer as well as this comment. I hope that both are correct.

OMG, I FINALLY have been able to solve a META unaided. Mark this day up, hopefully it will mark a turning point or a tournant de la vie!

Oh, and unfortunately I was not on first, but I did manage the first page.

Not yet confirmed but absolument positive! UPDATE: CONFIRMED (queue 'La Marseillaise')

NUDGES!I am always willing to give nudges where needed; metas should be about fun, not frustration. Send me what you have done so far because often you are closer than you think!

That was a cool meta! Itโ€™s really helpful if you remember that there are numbers with some clues. Lol!

Some nudges per request -- on the earlier side mainly because if I don't do it now I'm afraid I'll forget again! :D

No worries if you don't know French; this is only Pepe LePew level French. And don't worry about getting the answer extremely precise.

6D and 71D are supposed to be helpful.

6 themers -- the ones with the (x) clues. Entry and clue are pretty synonymous. Maybe you can come up with one other for each pair?

The numbers in parentheses don't indicate letter placement, but letter totals.

And then homonyms come into play.
Go ahead and say any of those short words you come up with. Again -- out loud -- why not? -- no one's listening. :)

Got it, finally! I was trying to make it a lot harder than it was, and so needed all the hints. (Not submitting.) Very nicely done, @whimsy!

Edit: I forgot this was on Crosshare, so I did submit my answer there just to make sure :-)

Solved and submitted, but I needed all the nudges.
Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here. US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!
