Likewise, waiting for confirmation. (Look at me, first on page 2 for the second week in a row. What impeccable timing.)

The cat is finally out of the bag where it's been hiding since last week :-)

Nice one! I'm glad it was on the easy side; I felt like I'd better get this one since I was mentioned in a clue!

Hot town, summer in the city
Pretty sure I've unbagged the kitty
Been down, but Josh showed us some pity
Even when the Meta's easy its still witty

Thanks Josh!

I definitely needed a Kitten level meta this week. I've been helping our son move from one apartment to another and had no idea he had accumulated so much STUFF! Thanks Josh!

Oh yeah - the kitty is out of the bag.

Nudge very-late-Saturday-because-I-forgot-to-do-it-earlier:

The title matters. Think about where it is telling you to look.

Only the second word of the solution is derived from letters in the grid. The first should describe the spatial location of those letters.

Notice anything unusual about the overall distribution of letters? Where are overrepresented letters located?

Solution:

The edge of the grid is comprised of only the letters C, O, L, I, and E. The answer is therefore Border Collie.

Those letters were never neat, but they ROUGHly spelled out COLLIE a few times (letters left over). I submitted ROUGH COLLIE (the long-hair as opposed to the short-har or smooth collie) as my alternate (but accepted) answer.

Seeing RPardoe's comments, I guess I wasn't the only person who submitted (and had accepted) Rough Collie for the answer.
