Tsk! Tsk! I did not follow directions, and I stumped myself in part by making an unfortunate mistake.
I'm sure you'll do better!

I may have overthought it....

"Nudges: I charge $1.99 per nudge on weekdays, $2.99 per nudge on weekends and holidays. Tax not included. Terms and conditions apply. Please send in sequential unmarked bills. No fingerprints."
  • Worth every penny at TWICE the price!
EDIT1:
SWING AND A MISS! STRIKE ONE!

EDIT 2:

I may have been playing the incorrect sport... Second attempt submitted (without a lot of hope).

EDIT3:

Ball bounced 10 feet in front of the plate, but I doned swanged and missed.

"STRIKE TWO!"

EDIT4:

Overthought enough for one day. See y'all tomorrow.

Hmmm. Sent an answer that appears to make sense to me. We shall see how my cat fares.

Edit: Cat still firmly in the bag. Back to trying not to overthink again.

Edit: Well after another wrong guess and using all of the Saturday nudges I am finally out of the bag!

Submitted.

Though I wonโ€™t be surprised if I need to not overthink it again.

EDIT: Wrong! Maybe, on my first pass, I didn't really think at all. Back to not overthinking!

Q: What happens when you create a puzzle called Don't Overthink It and release it to a bunch of muggles?
A: What did you think would happen?

Firmly in the camp of overthinking things here.

I'm not sure what I should make of the fact that I seem to be the only poster to be correct

I will say that when you see it its a 100%er

A good bike ride and fresh air allowed me to see the puzzle with fresh eyes.

Answer submitted....and despite the (miss) adventures listed above, feeling @Dannyvee confident (is that even a term?) about my submission.

Edit - Confirmed correct

Think I am going to have to print out on a fresh sheet of paper and start over....

Submitted. Awaiting confirmation, but confident.

EDIT: Confirmed!

Very cool!

Not a solo solve. I needed nudging from, and commiseration with, other Muggles.

Confirmed that the cat is out of the bag. Had the right notion early. Abandoned it and commenced overthinking. Others had to give my head a swat so I could relax. Great puzzle.

NUDGES!I am always willing to give nudges where needed; metas should be about fun, not frustration. Send me what you have done so far because often you are closer than you think!
