Complexity Scale™ rating of 4 / 10.

The answer to this week's meta is a name.
(I doubt you'll need Google at all for this).

I’m in right after Dannyvee. Nice mechanism! Step 1 was just a guess (for me) and after that everything just rolled along.

I’m having a particularly good weekend!

If this wasn't a forum for metas, I'd be perfectly happy with having completed the grid and calling it. I'm sure an inroad will present itself soon enough, but that makes me even more excited for the harder weeks to come.

Solved the grid, had some inklings, but wasn't going anywhere.
Drove to get some pet supplies - and AHA hit me in the car.
Quickly solved (and submitted) once back home again.

Funny, I NEVER get the inspiration when not looking at the puzzle...

In the car and in the shower. Excellent places for inspiration to hit!

Couple of months back, the aha on a particular meta came while I was on a snowy walk in the woods.

Took me some time, but I have had it confirmed that I am dinoed and safely out of the box. Clever puzzle.

Thanks! I'm honored - that's high praise! Although I'm certain my puzzles would not have improved much at all without the help from Emma, Dani, Brian, and all of you that regularly solve and submit feedback - so thank you! <3

It's also very entertaining to hear where everyone's "a-ha" moments took place today - in the car, in a walk in the woods, chatting with a friend/spouse, etc. Very cool that this mechanism took a bit of pondering before finally clicking into place.

Thanks everyone for playing along! Sundays have become my favorite day of the week because of you. :D

A bit more detail - when I first completed the puzzle, I tried a few things. Not successfully
As I was driving I realized those things wouldn’t warrant a 4/10 complexity rating.
Thinking how things might be tweaked for the rating helped get the AHA while driving.
