Interesting comment from Will about the difficulty of this one:
Complexity Scale™ rating of 5/10.

It was hard for me to choose a complexity score for this week's puzzle because I thought the mechanism was really quite simple, but Emma and Dani informed me that it's also quite subtle and tricky to notice. That said, you should have a good click - in other words, you'll know it when you see it! And, as always, the title and the meta prompt are your friends, and don't be afraid to ask for a hint if you need it!

EDIT: Dino me - I emailed Will about a hint with my thinking but something clicked and I managed to get in with the right answer before being nudged there!

Submitted, not yet confirmed. But as noted above, this HAS to be it. Beautiful meta!

I'm out of the box. Pending leaderboard update, but yeah, what else could it be?

I'm impressed by the originality of Will's metas.

Dino me, pending confirmation, but there was indeed a click.
Fun meta. Not something I've seen before.
Thanks!

Had a bad answer, but wrote down my thoughts, pondered a bit more and came up with a better answer that I submitted.
Post and solve moment - just got the final confirming click I am embarrassed to admit I missed originally. Much more confident of my answer now.

Dino me -- clear out of the box!

Really enjoyed this one. AND ... it was a nice break from my obsessing over this weekend's MGWCC, where I remain 8D-ed.

Way to go, Will!

Submitted, likely incorrect.

Update: sadly, I do not have the answer.

Me dino! I agree with others that this is original and enjoyable. (And also that I'm still stuck on MGWCC...)

I saw part of the mechanism and came up with an unsatsifying answer, then looked again and laughed out loud when I got it.

Answer submitted. It seemed easier to me than a 5 out of 10...

Will is a very talented constructor! I needed a little nudge to get over the hump, but I'm there.

I think we've got it and have submitted our answer. But I didn't see the final confirming click someone else mentioned.
