Dino me!
Fun!
Though I don't know why Will "chose this answer", as he suggests, intriguingly, in his notes.
EDIT: Will, in confirming my correct submission, explained his choice. OK, now I get it. A nice extra bit of business.

Dino'd (I guess that is a (the?) term).
And see myself on the leaderboard adjacent to Muggle Luminaries!
Forgot to ask why Will "chose this answer" also. But did get reminded of something else along the way.

This was a good one !

I think I understand the “why.” It actually sent me down a brief rabbit hole before the final solve.
Great puzzle, Will!

I copied those images from Abide (just above).
And the I copied Meg's images.
What else can I say? I know. "Solved."

I submitted something that...fits? But am not confident it's right.

I always enjoy Pandora's Blocks; thank you to Will and the editors and contributors and test solvers for making consistently high-quality puzzles. I'm happy to put money in the tip jar.
I had to wrestle with the grid more than usual this week, I think because there were few long entries and (as Will warned us) a lot of three-letter fill. It felt like trying to run through an old house with lots of doors and small rooms when you're used to running through an open concept house. I'm sure that crossword constructors have a term for this.

Agree with C=64. Happy to contribute. Great to have more metas and the weekly explanation/email is a nice touch.

after a short stop on a sandbar (to mix forum metaphors). Another fun one and impressive construction!
