3/10 on the Complexity Scaleโ„ข this week - Will was right about the slightly tougher fill but the meta has a nice click!

Make sure you're using the right version of the puzzle:

I was in the midst of my email to Will begging for help when the answer popped out. I like when that happens.
The site is just a web page, a meeting place, a clubhouse - it's the group that's special.

I got the grid and saw what is surely the first part of the solution to the meta but couldnโ€™t put it all together.

๐Ÿฆ•๐Ÿš‚, I am pretty sure.
The mechanism is clear but my click was slightly less than 100%.

I'm pretty sure I have it. One small nit, which caused me to not see the solution path right away. Otherwise enjoyable puzzle. I agree with Todd on the 66D clue, but then I'm a cyclist.

Dino me! (I guess I should say out of the box, but I got used to the first one.) I have probably the same nit as joequavis, but nevertheless it was very enjoyable!

DINO ME after Will told me I was wrong but encouraged me to keep at it. I found the answer in my notes.

Willโ€™s cluing is fun.

Dino me!

I enjoyed this meta.
I know that all's fair in these puzzles, but some of the recent WSJCCs have been pushing the meta element a bit further than what I feel is gettable for me. I know there are ups and downs, and I know I won't get them all. I know that there are a lot of different solvers out there that expect different things. I just think it's nice to get a meta that confounds you for a few minutes, but then, after putting in some effort (but not too much - a very difficult balance) you see the method and the answer with the expected click.

Each person sees different metas through their own eyes, has different expectations, and there's a large crowd out there to please. I fully understand the need for varying levels of difficulty so this is not a rant or a complaint - just an appreciation for this week's Pandora's Blocks meta.

Thanks Will!
(We'll see what I have to say when you post the more complex puzzle you were talking about last week...)
