Arrived home last night, after a long day of driving, to this delightful puzzle. Loved the grid. Loved the meta. An impressive debut indeed. Looking forward to many, many more wonderful puzzles from Sara Cantor!

I can't say it any better than this, so I won't. Ditto! (well, except for the driving part)

Thank you all so much for the kind words! This puzzle was a lot of fun to make and I'm really glad if you enjoyed it
Nice debut puzzle. Busy few days for me. The first part jumped out at me while filling in the grid. (A first)
I had no idea what to do with what I had in spite of coming back to the puzzle multiple times over several days. And then today as I sat down to look at my notes there it was! Also a first.
And then? The answer CLEARLY supporting the title!
Wow. Well done.
My avatar proves that it is sometimes better to be lucky than good!
Man talk about running a marathon for your first run! Really nice debut puzzle with lots of interesting cluing and interesting twists and turns. Didnโt see the mechanism at first and even then took a while to catch on but I am done yay! I even learned a thing or two.
NUDGES!I am always willing to give nudges where needed; metas should be about fun, not frustration. Send me what you have done so far because often you are closer than you think!
