Guest constructor this week!

"This week's puzzle: One Too Many by Emma Oxford
Complexity Scale™ rating of 2 / 10.

I'm really excited for everyone to solve this guest-constructed puzzle by Emma! She's been an awesome editor over the past several seasons of Pandora's Blocks, but she's also an excellent constructor!

The answer to this week's meta is a 2-word phrase.
(No Google necessary for this one).

E: Solved, submitted, and confirmed via Crosshare (Will's new preferred submission method). Needed a second guess but got there!

Nice!

I submitted, went out to do the NYT Spelling Bee, suddenly realized I had submitted WWRROONNGG (imagine loud, vibrating voice in my head), came back to the Crosshare page to confirm that I had indeed been WWRROONNGG (there it was again) -- and, happily, the puzzle accepted my second CORRECT answer.

Don't read too much into this. I entered too quickly, and didn't think through something that should have been obvious.

🦕 me. Great job Emma! Really a fun puzzle. BTW, whoever Mike D is-please remove your comment from Crosshare. You are providing a hint to solvers.

That was fun, and nice to see another one from Emma! I'm also liking the Crosshare format, although it does raise the question of whether to comment here or there, or both :-)

(@oldjudge: I think that you can only see the Crosshare comments on a puzzle if you've already solved the meta? Someone please let me know if I'm wrong about that, because I think I commented a spoiler on a different puzzle.)

Crosshare confuses me. When I submitted (correctly) and commented, I could see my comment and those of others. But when I went back in just now all Crosshare seemed to let me do was to re-submit, which would be silly. So, does anyone know how to view Crosshare comments after one has submitted and just wishes to read comments?

@oldjudge don't worry you can only view comments after submitting the correct answer so spoilers are OK there.

@boharr the only explanation I can think of is that when you went back the second time you weren't logged in (or were logged in with a different account). When the puzzle comes up you should see a little msg indicating if you are logged in or not. If that doesn't help please feel free to email me mike@crosshare.org and I'll try to help figure it out!

Probably the same mistake I made on my first submission.
