Off the couch — but feeling moronic for taking so long, and requiring a nudge, to get there.

Just when I think I’m _____ly getting good at these ...

Well at last Tom said 3D ingly. But Holy 34D ly did I try to make it difficult. I needed a creator slap to get me to see the light because though I was 39A ly following the right path I tried to take it though a much more wooded environment.

I LOVED the concept though, even though I stumbled on 9A because really none of the band members names fit, and I figured it wasn't Romper Room either because that was DOBEE. I obviously had NO idea of what that other thing was....

Then 10D I wanted to make LOWES (actually I tired to fit in MY HOUSE but knew I'd get a hubris comment) he said studly.

I was afraid I was going to run out of time since I have to work the next three days, he related patiently.

I was hoping that I would not have too many challenges at the hospital so that I could get 37D ly and have time to work on it.

Entertaining puzzle Jay - next time I'll listen to your evaluation of the difficulty level, guess I have been Following, Stating and being Lofty too much and fell into a trap.
