Afraid I had to google. Both too young and too old.

There is no sin in using Google, especially for one of mine.

Very nice, Peter! I’m awaiting confirmation. But I feel confident I have departed the Davenport.
Confirmed.

Off the couch! Very well constructed all around, definitely had to use Google a couple times for the grid and meta. Loved the theme and learned several new things while solving.

Answer submitted. Confirmed I am off the couch.
I ran up my monthly Google bill on this very clever meta.
Thank you.

I forgot all about MMM til after lunch! Do I need to set a calendar reminder for it, too?!

Submitted my answer, I think I should be Off The Couch. - [Edit: Confirmed!]

Grid was challenging, but I kept working at it til only 2 squares were giving me trouble — intersections of (38A, 39D) and (51A, 37D). For the meta, I had to go outside and work in the garden awhile before it dawned on me what I should do.

Enjoyed it! Thx for the puzzle!

Off the couch! Very enjoyable! Somehow I completely forget about the numbers in parentheses for a while, which really slowed me down :-)

Off the couch!

Loved it!

The grid was hard; I needed to google to complete one corner.

Then it took me a while to figure out the meta. But it helped that this field, at least a part of it, has been a lifelong interest.

Same. I *know* I'm close, I just can't figure out how to get to the solution...hoping for some "post-enlightenment."
