"2020 Foresight"

Post by cbarbee002 »

Good morning Muggles! It's Monday and you know what that means - - - Muggle Meta Monday!

This week's meta is called "2020 Foresight". I'm apparently bad at judging meta difficulty (they look so easy when you already know the path . . ), but I'm guessing this is a solid week 3. It was fun to try to make the construct work, and my thanks to Al for his invaluable input.

PM me your solution by 4 p.m. on Sunday. I'll post a couple of leaderboards as we go, and provide nudge(s) on Wednesday.

The answer to this meta is a seven-letter word for how things will look after 2020. Good luck and enjoy!

That second step is a doozy; needed a nudge from cbarbee or I think I would never have gotten it.

Waiting for confirmation. I needed a "you’re on the right track" and a nudge twice. Yeah, the same nudge twice because I wasn’t paying attention. Excellent meta path. Congrats to Chris!
And we are confirmed. Off the divan.

In the same place - have the first step...trying to find that second step. Thought it might be a doozy....getting dizzy squinting for it.

Wowsers, I'm in awe, not only of cbarbee002 (great puzzle!), but also oldjudge (without the nudge? dang, you're good!).

A very satisfying aha, even when I did need the nudge after the first step.

MMM is getting to be a favorite day of the meta week!

Very impressive (@oldjudge) indeed....I am in the other group - those that required some assistance to finally get to the solution.

Got the very clever first part (thanks, Google). Might need to wait for that Wednesday nudge for the rest!
Good luck, fellow Muggles!

Huh, we never thought of putting our baby in a crate; live and learn.

(Congrats on the pup!)
