Final Arrangements

Good Monday to all. This week’s puzzle is Final Arrangements. The prompt is:

You can find the answer to this puzzle in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Complete answers should identify two songs and who performed them

You may ask yourself: Is this MMM, or is it MMMM? After “We Three Kings” and “Like a Rolling Stone,” still another music puzzle?
Yes, I’m afraid so.

This one’s not too difficult. PM me with the answer.

This one’s not too difficult.

After reading a half dozen or so submitted answers, I have expanded the meta prompt:

You can find the answer to this puzzle in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Complete answers should identify two songs and who performed them

I know there might be objections to changing the rules after some of the early submissions, but hey, Covid.

When I saw "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame" I thought "Oh No; I'm doomed!", but after looking at the completed grid, I am pretty sure that I have part of the answer. I will look again in the morning in hopes of seeing the rest.

I saw a good part of the answer after the initial meta prompt and found the rest later.
Enjoyable puzzle!

Off the couch - the key suddenly flashed into my mind about one minute after I finished the grid this morning.

Edit 1: Awaiting confirmation and resolution of the "two songs" requirement that I now see.

Are the performers part of the meta or just something else we need to add in? I've found one of the songs and can't fathom how the performer would fit into the meta solution....

It's a package deal. If you get the right songs, you'll get the other piece.
