"Call Me"
Due to (another) week of poor planning on my part, I've had to reach way down in the barrel for an MMM this week. This is a rather old meta I put together a year or two ago, but have continually self-rejected because...well because it has what I consider a fatal flaw which I hope you will overlook. But I suppose something is better than nothing, so I am offering this one up in lieu of MMM taking the week off.
The answer to the meta is an 8-letter word. Feel free to PM me answers, and I will try to keep a leaderboard current during the week.

Thanks,
Brian

Submitted. Clever idea if I'm correct.
Funny story. I was all set to enter Par for the course for the CrossHare midi contest for April but I mistakenly thought midi meant 7x 7 and not 11 x 11. Oops. Well.... Here's a complex but **small** meta on the subject of golf.

Don't apologize.....and I haven't even looked at the puzzle yet. Those of us who work the metas are grateful to those of you who create them! Thanks.BrianMac wrote: ↑Mon Oct 25, 2021 10:53 am Due to (another) week of poor planning on my part, I've had to reach way down in the barrel for an MMM this week. About to submit. Pretty sure I’ve fallen off the sofa with my bowl of popcorn. Nice one, Brian!

Unconfirmed but surely uncouched. The "fatal flaw" is arguably not a flaw and certainly not fatal since it has apparently not stumped anyone.

Submitted... agree with Bird Lives about the "fatal flaw" but won't say more at this time.

Off the couch! Thanks for the puzzle.
Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here. US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!

Um.... It's pretty substantial. Not enough to stop us from enjoying this but .... it's substantial (and obvious).

Off the couch!
Awaiting confirmation, but confident. UPDATE: Confirmed!
Happy for my Monday meta fix, I’m undisturbed by the “fatal flaw” (if indeed I’m interpreting it correctly).

Yes she (Kona) is a mix of a cavalier, Bichon and Yorkie. Lots of cavalier came through. Jethro and Harley are very handsome!Jeremy Smith wrote: ↑Mon Oct 25, 2021 11:32 pmAh, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel?
