I'd looked at this one on my phone but figured out that I needed to wait til today, when I got back home to my printer, before getting serious about it. I did take a peek at the first two nudges but was able to restrain myself from looking at the others.

Very nice! I am off the couch - unconfirmed but really no doubt.

I shoved myself off the couch and needed all five spoilers, but the reward was still worth it. Great, great puzzle.

There were 33 solvers, not counting the three test solvers but including some names from Crosshare that were new to me. .
Shakespeare solvers.jpg
.
The answer is REUNITED.

The second half of each of the eight starred entries is also the latter part of the name of a character in Shakespeare. The matching first part is the first word of each of eight of the clues. So the first word of the clue for 32A is Ho. That links up with 18A COLOR RATIO

The first letter of the entries for those eight clues taken in order in the grid spell REUNITED.

THEH AGUE Mont St. Michel street RUE
SOV IET Jul. 2020 flights here were 50% lower than in 2019 EWR
TOM TOM Bot programmed in Karachi uses this language URDU
COLOR RATIO Ho with drugs might get informed on by one NARK
WAVES HELLO OT, so _____ take longer ITLL
LICO RICE Beat, as a hide TAN
BANK DICK "Bene, grazie" doesn’t start in this direction (cryptic clue) ENE
SUNB LOCK Shy Girls singer-songwriter Vidmar DAN

Other than the ROM-COM misdirect this had *everything* I want in a meta and is probably my favorite puzzle in weeks.
