Late to the party but this one was as sweet as Ultra. Great title from Chopped.
The site is just a web page, a meeting place, a clubhouse - it's the group that's special.

Off the Couch. Should have seen it yesterday, but I misread one of the clues.

Got it. But I *way* overthought it.

I'm relatively new to MMM so I was beginning to think after the last two that they were very meta-meta (two weeks ago it was based solely on previous Metas and last week we had to apply a mechanism to itself) so I was thinking this would probably have injokes I might not know yet or other intricacies.

Oh, very tough grid.

OTC. Fun one. A difficult (but do-able) grid fill, with lots of great clues!

Pretty sure I'm off the couch. Agree that the grid was tough, but loved the meta!
Happy to give nudges. If you notice I've solved, please tell me about avenues you've explored so I can nudge you in the right direction and not off a cliff.

Time to update the tally board! 42 running around off the couch, many semi-cursing the Grid and "crunchy" clues. Still, there has been no angry mob at the door yet so I'm safe - for now. Next time I'll try for an easier Grid but an ULTRA tough meta

Finally off the couch after being away for the past several weeks. It looks like I missed some great MMMs during that time, but glad I wasn’t away for this one. Thanks for a fun meta, DrTom!

So many rabbit holes to go down. Excellent job Dr. Tom

If you PM me with the answer and don't see your name right away it is not that you are wrong, but I'm in the hospital all day tomorrow and they get real picky about me doing anything but taking care of patients - how rude! So if they are there I'll get to them tomorrow evening.

Off the couch with assistance from my almost equally aged Muggle partner.
Great meta, Dr. Tom.
Now off to a good seat in the garden to admire the nearby QuickFire hydrangea.

I believe that I am off the couch--awaiting confirmation.

Tough grid for me, but noticed the mechanism quickly. I really liked 2D.
