I've been stuck on this couch all day. I see a lot of interesting stuff, though.

Finally got to this tonight. Nice chuckle!

Nudge Wednesday!

The title should indicate where you need to look.

When you look in the right places, you should find a clear pattern. That pattern alone should lead to the name of the flower (i.e., the name itself is not embedded anywhere in the grid).

Think of some synonyms for the elements of the pattern that you (hopefully) found

Great minds think alike, or "don't think" alike.
In my submission I (yes, literally) said "sometimes you really have to smack your head"

I saw half the solution, thought and thought. Nope, I got nothin'
until I did figure it out.

Off the couch. It would have been embarrassing not to get this one.
Nice one Josh.

Solution:

The title was meant to get you to look at the columns (i.e. not the rows) of the grid. You will find that eight such columns feature the name of an automobile, followed by the name of a country.

The answer is therefore CARNATION, a solution which I hope meets with DrTom's full approval.

Happy Fourth to all the Americans out there :)

Ohhhh… yup. 🤦‍♀️

Not even complaining about 60A not actually being a Roman numeral (?), because as a clue it is just so dang cute.

Can someone explain 40A??

I got the “not rose” thing, and saw all the cars, but for some reason “nations” just didn’t hit me. Distracted by the cars. And I don’t even care that much about cars. I was stuck on something about parallel parking…
The other Wendy.
