Cryptic Connect Wall (Mini-Meta)

#1

Post by mokelfish »

Hey folks!

I recently posted a small cryptic puzzle with a meta based on connecting walls. I don't think it's too hard, but you never know with these things.

You can get the pdf or online version here:

Feedback appreciated, and thanks for checking it out! :)

Great puzzle! I had to look up the last thing (embarrassingly, although I knew what it was).

Agree with Al -- would love to see more!

Ibid - had to look up the final answer as well.
Echoing the esteemed solvers above me - enjoyable and would love to see another one.

What a great puzzle! Thank you very much for doing this - and I can't believe your creativity! I love the source of the ultimate answer too - I understand so much more now.

Fun!

Like others here, I had to google for the final answer. There's nothing like the puzzling world to reveal how limited my cultural knowledge is.

Fun puzzle; well constructed. I liked figuring out the word sets. I wasn't familiar with the final answer, but Google helps and add to knowledge. ;-)

That was great! Twisty steps were fun to figure out. Had to Google at the end. More, please!

Super late to the party, but I really like this construction!
I solved the cryptic without any trouble, and got 3 of the 4 sets. For the fourth I had OUT instead of the one that was supposed to be there. It wouldn't have made any difference, though, because I've never heard of the one thing (described by the set words) or the other thing (the final answer).
More, please!
