Went from a filled cup and an empty grid to an empty cup and a filled grid!

I always like the misdirection wordplay seen at the end of the clues in 31a and 11d.

That is one of the things I enjoy I with cryptics - parsing clues correctly beyond the initial reading.
As for favorites this week, 3D made my list. Perhaps an trope, but felt new to me. 26A I suspected the answer, but missed the wordplay initially until later in the solve. (In these cases, I mentally pencil in the answer and try to get crossings to help confirm.)
Another thing I enjoy with cryptics is that there are always two ways to crack the clue. Sometimes I get the answer from the definition and/or crossings then parse the word play to confirm. Other times, I try to get bits of the answer from the word play then work towards the definition. I realize that this makes it sound very rational and logical, but both methods are more often starts with an AHA flash to the answer.
